A brand new web-based digital wallet

At Diwala we believe in constant iteration and improvement of user experience and security concerning how you share your data. From experience and interaction with our users, we learned that a digital wallet should not be excluded to an app - but be accessible from any device, regardless if you have a smartphone or not. With the Diwala 3.0 identity wallet, there is no need to download an app anymore. Our new wallet is accessible to all, from any device, using your favorite browser.

From this day, you can access your wallet from any device by entering https://app.diwala.io/. Once logged in, click on the "My Wallet Tab" after which you should see all the credentials that were previously issued to you.

Diwala´s new digital wallet enables you to access and share your credentials in an even more secure and flexible way.

How? 

• We have improved sharing security by allowing users to hide the actual credential behind a credential symbol, until the user consents to sharing their full credentials. This enables secure sharing on social media, without compromising identity and privacy. 

• A public identity wallet profile where you can add further information about yourself, your business, or your services.
  
• Improved wallet design, for better overview, downloading, and sharing of credentials.
  
• See who wants to verify your credentials.
  
• Control what credentials a Verifier can view.
  
• Magic links to log in - say goodbye to that pesky password!

Do you also have a business account? ‍
You can now control both accounts from one place. Just remember to link your business account to your personal account when you log in to the new Diwala Wallet. Once you have added yourself, you don’t need to use the remaining email to log in anymore. You can have one account, to rule them all. 

Do you have an account with Diwala already from the Google Play store or the IOS Apple store?
Simply go to the app and log in like you usually do with your existing contact information, and we will guide you straight to your new web-based wallet. Please make sure to use the same contact information you used before, otherwise, you will not be able to see your previously received credentials‍

Will there be no app? 

A (mobile) app is primarily an item on your main screen on the phone. In our first upgrade of Diwala 3.0, you will still be able to add the Diwala web app to your home screen. You can do this by using bookmarking through your browser. Click here to read more about bookmarking. This will give you easy access to Diwala straight from your main screen, if you still wish to have that.
